Photo: Nunavik hockey stars honoured for attitude

This group of players are all smiles on at Kuujjuaq Minor Hockey Association’s annual gala and awards ceremony, held May 6 at the Katittavik Town Hall in that Nunavik hub. Numerous players of all levels, both male and female, received awards for skills, sportsmanship and attitude. All players received gifts as well, including framed portraits, team photos and hockey cards — made possible, in part, through funds raised from a can recycling program that players participated in.
