Photo: Nunavik Rangers hike Everest base camp trail

A group of Junior Canadian Rangers, including four Nunavimmiut from the 2nd Canadian Ranger Patrol Group, pose in front of Mount Everest during a recent expedition to Nepal. Joy Dora Aragootak (Kuujjuarapik), Naomi Sala-Gauvin (Kuujjuaq), Ranger Joseph Joshua Annanack (Kangiqsualujjuaq) and Tommy Elijah Weetaluktuk (Inukjuak) spent three weeks touring the south Asian country, visiting Chitwan National Park, hiking the Everest base camp trail and doing community work with the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation.
