Photo: Nunavik students help on building project in Ecuador

Kuujjuaq teens help build a school in the indigenous community of St-Miguel in the Chimborazo province of Ecuador. Ten Kuujjuaq youth, aged 15 to 17, participated in a school construction project earlier this month in St-Miguel. Their trip to Ecuador was the high point of a year-long project spearheaded by Youth Employment Services Nunavik of the Kativik Regional Government to encourage youth to stay in school and provide them with essential life skills.
