Students at the Nunavik school will be making contact with the International Space Station today, Nov. 17, while the space station travels above the region, about 400 kilometres away. The program, which has visited a number of schools across the eastern Arctic, is coordinated by the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station, the Canadian Space Agency and NASA, and funded with support from Makivik Corp., First Air and Air Inuit.
