Kangiqsualujjuaq seamstress Maggie Sandy Annanack got a surprise delivery last month when local hunter support coordinator Tooma Etok dropped off a bag of fabric and other sewing supplies -- free of charge. The delivery came from parka makers Canada Goose, who donated hundreds of rolls of fabric to Nunavik in November. The supplies were flown to Kuujjuaq through First Air, and then distributed to each of the region's 14 communities through the Kativik Regional Government's hunter support programs.
