Photo: Nunavimmiut Canadian Rangers to tour Nepal

Seven Junior Canadian Rangers, including four from Nunavik, and two Canadian Rangers, are on their way to Nepal this week with Bernard Voyer, an honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the 2nd Canadian Rangers Patrol Group, who is leading the expedition. Over the next three weeks, Joy Dora Aragootak of Kuujjuarapik, Naomi Sala-Gauvin of Kuujjuaq, Ranger Joseph Joshua Annanack of Kangiqsualujjuaq) and Tommy Elijah Weetaluktuk of Inukjuak will trek along the Everest Base Camp road, meet with the Sherpa community and do volunteer work in different villages.
