Photo: Nunavimmiut puppies, meet world

Seven-week-old puppies peek out of their home earlier this week in Kuujjuaq. The new litter belongs to Kuujjuaq musher Allen Gordon, winner of the 2014 Ivakkak dog sled race. The pups are all spoken for; the little female on the right is heading to Alberta, while Gordon will keep her sister, Nuka, at left, and eventually she will join his team. (PHOTO COURTESY OF A.
