Iqaluit filmmaker Alethea Arnaquq-Baril is in Toronto this week, where her new documentary Angry Inuk recently premiered at Hot Docs, North America's biggest documentary festival. The feature-length documentary, which explores the traditional Inuit seal hunt and how it’s perceived internationally, picked up the festival’s Vimeo On Demand Audience Award, along with the Canadian Documentary Promotion Award, which comes with a $25,000 cash prize.
