Team Coral Harbour wins this year’s Avataq Cup March 13 in Rankin Inlet. The annual hockey tournament will get a new title in 2017; organizers have decided to rename it the Terrance Tootoo Memorial Tournament, after the late brother of NHLer Jordin Tootoo. Terrance Tootoo was a rising hockey star who, in 2002, was playing for the Roanoke Express of the East Coast Hockey League in Virginia, when he died by suicide at age 22. (PHOTO BY NOEL KALUDJAK)
