Photo: Nunavut man picks up Diamond Jubilee honour

Johnny Issaluk of Iqaluit was one of 60 Canadians presented with the Diamond Jubilee medal in Ottawa Feb. 6, for his contributions towards “improving the health and community well-being among Nunavutmiut.” The new commemorative medal was created to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.
