Photo: Nunavut Quest mushers celebrated in Igloolik

A Nunavut Quest dog team races off from the starting line in Arctic Bay April 25. The Nunavut Quest dog team race, 500-kilometres race from Arctic Bay to Igloolik, is now over, with mushers crossing the finish line late last week. In first place, Andy Atagutalukutuk finished the race in 38:34 (hours:minutes). He won $10,000. Peter Siakuluk, who finished the race in 39:23, came in second, winning $5,000.
