Photo: Nunavut RCMP get new commanding officer

Chief Superintendent Michael Jeffrey, far right, arrived in Iqaluit in November 2014 but it wasn’t until today, May 28, that RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson, middle, made the change of command official at a ceremony at Iqaluit’s Cadet Hall. Corps Sgt. Major Darren Campbell stands to Paulson’s right. Jeffrey has twice lived in Nunavut, in 1991 and again in 1999 as Iqaluit detachment commander, and said he is “proud and humbled” to become Nunavut’s seventh commanding officer.
