Photo: Nunavut Tourism releases visitor stats

The typical visitor to Nunavut is a well-educated, well-to-do, middle-aged man travelling on business, with no children, who stays in the territory for less than a week. While he's in Nunavut, he's likely to shop, visit a museum or visitor centre and take a hike. That's based on information from the Nunavut Visitors Exit Survey, presented Oct. 22 by Colleen Dupuis, the chief executive officer of Nunavut Tourism, at the Unikkaarvik Visitor Centre in Iqaluit.
