Photo: Nunavut Tourism’s poster girl

About 20 years ago Madelaine Kakkianiun of Kugaaruk posed for a photo, now displayed on Nunavut Tourism’s trade show booth at the Kitikmeot Trade Show in Cambridge Bay. After discovering she was portrayed in the display, Kakkianiun posed for a new photo. The trade show, open to the public during the afternoon of Feb. 15, wraps up Feb. 16. (PHOTO BY JANE GEORGE)
