Nunavimmiut athletes took part in the Arctic Winter Games snowshoe tryouts in Kangiqsualujjuaq Jan. 21 and 22, where youth from across the region competed for a spot on Team Nunavik. At the end of the weekend, 11 juvenile and junior female and male athletes were selected to represent Team Nunavik at the 2012 AWG, which kicks off in March in Whitehorse, Yukon.
