Photo: Once again, Iqaluit’s dump catches fire

In a photo taken at around 10:20 p.m. June 20, smoke pours from a fire at Iqaluit’s dump that started that day in the late afternoon in an area used to store scrap wood and metal. The City of Iqaluit said late on June 20 that the fire is located at “a safe distance” from Iqaluit’s fuel tank farm and that there’s no danger to the public. Read more later on Nunatsiaqonline.ca.
