Music students from Ottawa learn about Inuit drums and hunting from Mathew Nuqingaq at the Aqsarniit Middle School in Iqaluit March 14. The group of Ottawa students, who arrived right before the March 11 blizzard March, have since performed with the Iqlauit Fiddle Club, gone dog-sledding, played ice soccer and toured the legislative assembly building. The program, called Orkidstra, will see Iqaluit students go to Ottawa in April to play music. The group will perform a concert Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Nakasuk School.
