Photo: Over 55? Iqaluit elders to hold AGM Jan. 27

Are you 55 years of age or over? If so, you may attend and vote at the annual general meeting of the non-profit Pairijait Tigumivik Society, which operates the elder’s care facility near the beach and the Iqaluit patient hostel near the hospital. The society plans to hold their AGM Jan. 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the Iqaluit elders’ Qammaq. The society will consider a motion to change its name to Pairijait Tigumiatukkut Society as well as elect board members. Any Iqaluit resident 55 or over may vote. (PHOTO BY BRIAN PEHORA)
