Photo: Pang tapestries on display in Montreal

To celebrate the 40th year of weaving in Pangnirtung, a collection of old and new tapestries from the community’s Uqqurmiut Centre are on display at the Canadian Guild of Crafts in Montreal. The exhibition includes some of tapestries included in the first exhibition of Pangnirtung tapestries held at the Guild in 1972. The exhibition, which opened April 28, will remain at the Guild, located at 1460 Sherbrooke St. W. in Montreal, until June 2. (PHOTO COURTESY OF THE GUILD)
