Photo: Parks Canada gathers local knowledge about Ukkusiksalik

Local holders of knowledge in Naujaat chat with Parks Canada officials as part of the Ukkusiksalik National Park Inuit Knowledge Working Group in Naujaat late last month. The working group met from Jan. 25 to 27 to discuss a number of projects related to the park including marine baseline data collection, a climate change vulnerability assessment, and the use of Inuit knowledge to monitor park health.
