Officials in Pond Inlet, including mayor Charlie Inuarak, second from right, cut the ribbon to the community’s newly-opened Northern store Sept. 18. The renovated store now spans over 10,000 square feet, offering space for a self-prepared and hot foods section, as well as a new Tim Hortons counter.
