Photo: Premier Marois heads to Nunavik

Quebec Premier Pauline Marois, seen here during her November 2010 visit to Kuujjuaq, will return to Nunavik Sept. 12 and Sept. 13. During the visit, she’ll meet with Nunavik leaders to talk about the cost of living in the region and the need for improved infrastructure and better telecommunications. She’ll also officially open the Kuurujuaq provincial park (called a “parc national” by Quebec) near Kangiqsualujjuaq Sept. 13. Marois will be joined by ministers Alexandre Cloutier, responsible for Nord-du-Québec region and environment minister Yves-François Blanchet.
