Photo: Preparing for the “Grand Défi”

Julia St-Aubin, 17, and Andrea Brazeau, 16, of Kangiqsualujjaq practice on stationary bikes in Kangiqsualujjuaq in preparation for this weekend’s “Grand Défi,” a 1,000-kilometre, three-day bicycle rally between Saguenay-Lac St-Jean and Montreal. Along the way, the girls will be accompanied by Olympic medal-winning athletes Clara Hughes, Gaétan Boucher, Joé Juneau and Benoit Lamarche, who visited Kangiqsualujjuaq earlier this year.
