Photo: Quebec ministers tour Nunavik communities

Quebec ministers Geoffrey Kelley (Aboriginal Affairs),Yves Bolduc (Education), Lucie Charlebois (Youth Protection and Public Health) and Ungava MLA Jean Boucher were among a group who enjoyed an Oct.14 performance by Kuujjuaq’s Circiniq group at the Katittavik town hall. The group of Quebec ministers are touring Northern Quebec this week; in addition to a visit to Kuujjuaq’s Pitakallak school, Kelley and Bolduc visited the school in Aupaluk, while Charlebois made a trip to Puvirnituq to see first-hand that community’s youth and social services.
