Photo: Rankin Inlet residents support Philippines typhoon victims

Members of the Rankin Inlet Filipino community gathered at the community hall in Rankin Inlet Nov. 23 to accept donations for disaster relief efforts in their home country which was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan. Some of their family members back home in the Philippines were directly impacted by the storm which killed more than 5,000 people and has been deemed the Philippines’ worst ever storm.
