Photo: Recycling depots roll out in Nunavik

Municipal staff help gather old electronics dropped off at Kuujjuaraapik’s new recycling depot, set up earlier this month. The Nunavik community is one of three to start a collection of electronics, batteries, light bulbs and paint as part of a region-wide waste management program to ensure the materials are properly disposed of — in this case, in southern facilities.
