Team Ungava members Jason Aitchison and Simeonie Berthe pull into Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Nfld. March 5. The two Kuujjuaq-based snowmobiles make up one of two Nunavik teams participating in this year’s Cain’s Quest snowmobile endurance race, which takes riders 3,500 kilometres off-trail through the wilds of Labrador. The other Nunavik team, made up of Junior May and Edward Watkins, was spotted close to Makkovik, Nunatsiavut mid-day March 7, while Aitchison and Berthe were further up the coast near Hopedale.
