Inuk singer/songwriter Charles “Saali” Keelan revs up the crowd at Sam Pudlat school Nov. 14, during a benefit show he played at the Cape Dorset school. The show, coordinated by the National Art Centre’s Music Alive program and the Kinngait Performing Arts Club, raised funds to replace arts equipment that was lost in the Sept. 6 fire that destroyed the community’s Peter Pitseolak high school.
