Samuel Nuqingaq, MLA for Uqqummiut, suppresses a yawn during his swearing-in ceremony as MLA in November 2013. Nuqingaq’s fellow MLAs voted Oct. 24 to expel him from the legislature which means his east Baffin seat becomes vacant.
