Photo: school bus accident in Iqaluit

This Iqaluit school bus, with a large number of children aboard, slid off the road during lunch hour Oct. 9 and into a garbage receptacle in the 200s area of Iqaluit near the old cemetery. No children were hurt, the bus driver said. The children stayed in the vehicle until RCMP arrived and another school bus took the kids home for lunch.
