Sinuupa plays with his band earlier this year at the Puvirnituq Snow Festival. Kuujjuaq singer and songwriter Etua Snowball, who performs as Sinuupa, has now been nominated as “debut artist of the year” by the Native American Music Awards, the only Inuk among 19 Canadians nominated.
