An offshore Arctic oil exploration protest gets tense: a Russian Coast guard officer is seen pointing a gun at a Greenpeace protester as others attempt to scale the Prirazlomnaya, Sept. 18, an oil platform operated by Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom in Russia’s Pechora Sea. Russian officials then moved in to arrest more than 25 on board the Greenpeace vessel, the Arctic Sunrise.
