Photo: Sleight of hand at Kuujjuaq’s Aqpik Jam

Don’t try this yourself, but here Jimiini the magician — otherwise known as Jimmy Tommy Kumarluk of Kuujjuaraapik — pulls a ribbon out of his mouth during his Aug. 10 show at the Aqpik Jam music festival in Kuujjuaq. Jimiini also pulled a rope up through his body without cutting it, performed mind-boggling card tricks, made a skunk appear and changed a black scarf into a cane and then turned the cane back into the scarf.
