Members of the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board are meeting in Iqaluit this week to discuss a number of wildlife issues including harvesting quotas and recent decisions from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. This morning, Sept. 23, members talked about the management of the caribou herd on Southampton Island which currently has no quota because an allowable harvest of 800 expired in June.
