CBC personality and environmental activist David Suzuki gave a keynote address to the Piliriqatigiinniq Teacher’s Conference Feb. 14 at Iqaluit’s Inuksuk High School. Suzuki, a former educator, spoke to more than 500 Nunavut teachers and administrators about the ecological challenges facing the planet and about the need to re-evaluate unchecked consumerism.
