Photo: Taima TB holds feast in Iqaluit

Dr. Gonzalo Alvarez, the researcher behind the Taima TB campaign, and Franco Buscemi of Nunasi Corp. call out the names of door prize winners after the March 22 community feast sponsored by Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. in the Anglican parish hall. During the feast, Alvarez presented the project’s results and, to thank those present for their participation in the project, drew out names for prizes which included items like a tool box, a basket brimming with a selection of healthy food and a box of caribou meat.
