Photo: Taloyoak early childhood students graduate

Thirteen adult students in Taloyoak have just completed the first in a series of courses offered by Nunavut Arctic College’s Early Childhood Education certificate program. The students will study child development, Inuit child-rearing, safety, nutrition, and childcare centre curriculum. The students hope the training will help them find work caring for young children when a new daycare centre opens in their community some time next year.
