Post-secondary graduate Peter Annahatak offers help to Sarah Pirti, an Inuktitut grade 4, 5 and 6 teacher from Akulivik, as part of the course called Integrating Technology in the Classroom. It's one of six courses offered as part of the Kativik School Board's teacher training summer session held this year in Kuujjuaraapik from June 26 to July 3. The KSB's teacher Training program, offered in partnership with McGill University, takes the average Nunavimmiut teacher between five and seven years to complete and earn their Quebec teaching certificate.
