LeClair’s team squared off against Team McSorley, coached by former NHL tough guy Marty McSorley, who won the game 6-4. Organizers billed the match-up as a “VIP” game, but “it was mostly joking,” LeClair said. The retired pro players were in the Nunavut capital to greet hockey fans with the Stanley Cup, and share tips about their favourite game with community hockey organizers and kids.
