Team LeClair, headed up by none other that former National Hockey League player John LeClair, left, follows the action in a fundraising hockey game during a “celebration of hockey” event by Scotiabank, March 27, at the Arctic Winter Games arena in Iqaluit. LeClair’s team squared off against Team McSorley, coached by former NHL tough guy Marty McSorley, who won the game 6-4. Organizers billed the match-up as a “VIP” game, but “it was mostly joking,” LeClair said. The retired pro players were in the Nunavut capital to greet hockey fans with the Stanley Cup, and share tips about their favourite game with community hockey organizers and kids.
