Photo: Team Nunavik ready for the AWG

Nunavik’s Arctic Winter Games athletes, in their green and black team outfits, gather March 2 in Kuujjuaq before their March 3 departure to Whitehorse, Yukon, where the AWG are set to start March 4. On March 2 in Kuujjuaq, the team paraded down from the Forum and finished at the Kaitittavik town hall for a public pep rally, which included a performance by team’s cultural members and the announcement that Minnie Molly Snowball from Kangiqsualujjuaq will serve as the flag-bearer during the games.
