Ben Whidden, left and Nancianne Grey, of the Kativik Regional Government’s recreation department, show off Team Nunavik’s new parkas to the Kativik Regional Government council in Kuujjuaq Feb. 24. The parkas, complete with pointed hoods and designed by Nunavik Creations, will be worn by the 88 members of Team Nunavik’s contingent that will take part in this year’s Arctic Winter Games, which are being hosted in Fairbanks, Alaska March 15-22.
