Team Nunavut, selected from the participants in the Nunavut Firefighters’ Competition in Rankin Inlet, which wrapped up Aug. 10, will represent Nunavut at the National Aboriginal Firefighter Competition this week in Big Cove, N.B. Last year, Team Nunavut finished the course at nationals with no infractions, an achievement no other team was able to accomplish. Team Nunavut was also voted “most sportsmanlike” by the other provincial and territorial teams.
