The beginning of a beautiful friendship. The Ottawa Children’s Choir and the Inuksuk Drum Dancers of Iqaluit launched a two-month cultural and educational exchange this week, starting with Music Monday on May 4, when the OCC Chamber Choir and the Inuksuk students appeared at the National Arts Centre via a broadband link. The Chamber Choir has stayed on in Iqaluit to do music workshops in Iqaluit and the Inuksuk Drum Dancers will visit Ottawa between June 26 and July 3.
