Between now and Aug. 22, Operation Nanook is slated to receive a continuous stream of visits from many VIPs, including defence minister Peter MacKay, Governor General David Johnston and Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who will meet with people in the community and look at the operation, which involves 1,100 sailors, soldiers, pilots and Canadian Rangers.
