Elisapie Cain takes a breather from the detailed beaded pattern she’s sewn into a sealskin purse. Cain is one of a number of Nunavimmiut who gathered in the Nunavik community of Aupaluk Oct. 28 to Nov. 10 to take part in arts workshops offered each year through Avataq Cultural Institute.
