Photo: The intimate details of everyday life in Nunavut

Pangnirtung elder and artist Elispee Ishulutaq is pictured here in October 2014 working on a hand-drawn mural at the community’s Uqqurmiut centre. The 20-foot long piece, titled Yesterday and Today, depicts everyday life in and around the Baffin community over the last few decades.
