These officers with the Kativik Regional Police Force in Kuujjuaq were among 17 in the force who grew mustaches during November — “Movember,” when men around the world grow and then cut their “mo’s” or mustaches to raise money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. The “Mo-Po’s” raised more than $4,000 — a sum that the Kativik Regional Government, which oversees the police force, decided to match, making their contribution the sixth highest nationally among police forces raising money in “Movember.” (PHOTO BY JANE GEORGE)
