Photo: The new faces at Saturviit

The Saturviit Inuit Women’s Association of Nunavik’s new board of directors met for the first time Oct. 25. The group’s new executive includes president Annie Arnatuk, vice-president Sarah Nowrakudluk, treasurer Mary Thomassie and secretary Niali Aliqu. The non-profit organization, which represents the region’s Inuit women and children, is already working on its second Nunavik womenʼs conference, called Arnaliat Nipingit, to be held in spring 2015.
