Photo: The World arrives in CamBay

Vicki Aitaok, Cambridge Bay’s local cruise coordinator, and Louisa Aitaok prepare to travel by zodiac to The World, a 200-metre-long cruise ship that is also a luxury residential condominium community, anchored outside Cambridge Bay Aug. 30 with about 400 people on board. After leaving Cambridge Bay, the ship plans to transit the Northwest Passage, making it the largest passenger vessel to attempt this trip.
