Photo: Torontonians show their support for Clyde River

Torontonians sign a banner that reads “We Support Clyde River” outside the Federal Court of Canada in Toronto April 20. A panel of judges at the courthouse is hearing a judicial review today launched by the Nunavut hamlet, Mayor Jerry Natanine and local hunters and trappers, to reverse a 2014 National Energy Board decision to allow a consortium of companies to conduct seismic testing for seabed oil and gas reserves off Baffin Island’s east coast.
